This part of the book deals with this practice of MANAGEMENT ADVISORY SERVICES (MAS). Though other professionals can also handle management advisory services, the following chapters discuss MAS as practiced by CPAs who will be referred to as MAS practitioners, consultants or advisers. Chapter 1 contains nature, scope, and characteristics of MAS, and the other chapters deal with the other concerns of the CPA as an MAS practitioner, like the design and installation of accounting systems and preparation of feasibility studies.
