Guidelines on the Use of the Audio-Visual Room |
• The AVR facilities are primarily intended for the teacher and students to facilitate learning • Other sectors of community may also avail of the facilities and services provided the written application is approved by the Principal. Charges will be imposed. • The AVR should be kept at all times. • Vandalism and Eating inside are strictly prohibited. • Talking and roaming around should be minimized during Video presentation. • AVR use is scheduled on the FIRST come FIRST serve basis. Any student / teacher, who intend to use the EMC or any of its facilities for presentation, reporting, film viewing, and the like, must accomplish the booking form at least two days before the scheduled activity. Request for its use should be approved by the EMC Media Specialist. Application forms are available at the EMC office. • Teachers should preview materials they intend to use and evaluate its relevance and appropriateness to the subject matter. • Teachers concerned should be present at all times during the scheduled viewing of the classes. They are directly responsible for the behavior of their students in the AVR. • In case of damages the concerned person/ persons, should pay for the cost of repair or replacement of the damage material. • The student or teacher concerned must coordinate with the EMC in-charge an hour before the scheduled activity. • Failure to report within 30 minutes on the booked schedule will be considered absent. • Any desired changes and transfer of schedule must be coordinated with the Media Specialist. Booking form must be presented. • Every department who intend to use the EMC for an Institutional activity (e.i. seminar for the faculty, orientation for the first year students, PGT events, meetings and etc.) should properly book the facility ahead of time to avoid problems and future conflicts with other schedules. • Booking should be limited not more than five (5) days. • EMC will not accommodate below ten (10) persons. |
