General Guidelines:

Any pupils/students of the School of Basic Education Department are expected to practice the following:

1.a Observe silence.
Idle conversation, loud laughter, and other unnecessary noise that would disturb the library users should be avoided. Talking out of necessity must be done in subdued tones.

1.b Observe cleanliness.
All library users are enjoined to keep the library clean. No one is supposed to litter on the tables or floor with waste paper and other scrap materials. Trash cans are provided for this purpose.

1.c Eating, smoking and sleeping are not allowed inside the library.
The library is exclusively intended for research purposes and nothing else.

1.d Keep things in order.
Library users must sit down properly on the chairs provided for them and put their seats back against the tables as they leave the library. Likewise, newspapers, and magazines should be returned in their proper place after use. Seek assistance from the library assistants in returning the books in the reading area.

1.e Handle books and other library materials with care.
Unnecessary marks and writings as well as tearing of book pages should be avoided.

1.f Always present school ID upon entry.
A properly validated school ID must be wear upon entering the library.

1.g Stealing or mutilating of books is a serious offense and will be dealt accordingly.
Anyone found guilty of stealing any library material will be subjected to grave disciplinary action. In addition, the pupil/student will pay a fine of P100.00. In case the library material is mutilated/stolen, he/she will replaced or pay the cost of the said library material.
