How to gather information - use of the card catalog/ OPAC, reference books, periodicals, indexes, bibliographies, parts of the book, and web sites. 6. Procedures for Borrowing Materials - how to check out all kinds of materials and equipment, length of loan. 7. Using Audio-Visual Equipment - how to operate all kinds of equipment 8. Community Resources - awareness of availability and use of local museum, colleges or university libraries, individual organizations. 9.
